For inserting a variety of different fasteners commonly referred to as pem nuts, studs, stand offs, etc., we have two single feed Haeger Presses and one four station computerized one touch Haeger Press.
Fastener insertion with the Haeger One Touch machine allows the operator to insert four different fasteners in a single handling. Benefits of this operation include time savings and less handling of components which can greatly reduce the risk of scratches, etc. The computer counts down the quantity of each fastener, then changes tooling automatically to proceed with the next fastener. A running count is also done by the computer. The issue of missing fasteners is greatly reduced using this equipment.
